Symposium “Community Safety
in the aftermath of the Dublin riots”

Racism, discrimination, and oppression has no place in Waterford. We are
determined to stand for anti-racism and inclusion in every way we can.
Together let’s make racism history.
Waterford Integration Services has compiled a range of events to mark anti-racism
month 2024 in Waterford.
We have three large events organised at the beginning of the month to open discussion and begin discourse with communities, residents,
migrant and racialised communities, Travellers & Roma, members of the LGBTI and
disability sectors, and others who have experienced oppression in society.

On Wednesday the 6 th of March we are organising a symposium “Community Safety in the aftermath of the Dublin riots”.
Timeframe is from 10.30 – 3.30pm to facilitate
public transport and flight schedules.

We have a great line-up of national and international speakers which will give us
plenty to think about in relation to Waterford.
You or your organisation has expressed an interest in attending this invitation only
event which is aimed at policy makers, frontline providers, and other collaborations.
We are now formally asking you to complete the registration form by return of email
to ensure only those registered have access. If more than one representative of your
organisation plans to attend please share the form to register their interest.

Please
do not share the form outside your organisation, if you know someone who may be
interested please contact us so we can get their interest noted and registered.

The venue is in Waterford City and will be shared to registered attendees on
Tuesday afternoon to protect the event from organised disruption.
